Be The DealerHey y'all, it's the Moody One back for another round of venting. And this time the fickle finger (oh, there's a joke there somewhere) lands on Be The Dealer, who was once really promoting the snot out of themselves around the forums. I don't see them promoted a lot now, and I think we know why.
Let me tell you my story. Last November (not this past one, the previous one), I won $150 in a blackjack freeroll through a very prominent forum. One of the stipulation was that it has to be wagered 20x before withdrawing. OK, fair enough, that's $3000, right? I can keep track of that through the points which accumulate 1 per dollar.
I figured I'd lose it all pretty quick, but I was doing halfway decent, actually making money. Well, it took me 10 months (I didn't play ALL the time), but I reached 3000 and figured I'd make about a half withdrawal, $200 or so, pocket change. I got an e-mail a few days later and I should have known something was wrong. It said the games I was playing, mostly blackjack, was only worth .33 points per dollar. Wow, that was in LARGE PRINT when I won that. So I have to accumulate another 6000 points.
Well, I went on a tear and did so. It cost me, but this past November I reached it and tried to clean out the last $290 on there. Made the withdrawal request, didn't get an e-mail, so I figured they might actually be legit. November, silence. December, silence. Figured I'd wait until after the holiday and then look into it.
Well, look into it tonight I did. I find the money is back in my account and it says the withdrawal was denied, but NO details. Check with Live Support, ask them politely what may have happened, tell them who I am, etc. Support acts like they've never heard of me withdrawing (the exact question was "When did you make a withdrawal?"). I told them the exact date, even the withdrawal number. Said they'd forward it to their 'finance department' and get back to me. Uh huh.
Loose translation: "Hey, BigMoody1, go **** yourself. You expected to ever see freeroll money? Hahahahahaha!!! You Americans really are idiots, and since there's nothing you can do to us, don't ever expect to see anything from us! We'll delay you to death in necessary!"
Okay, that's how I interpret it. Your experience may vary.
I guess I never really expected to ever see that money in the first place, but it's another reminder that so many places are just havens for liars and crooks. And count Be The Dealer as the biggest of them all.
