Computer Geek Needed |
|
I'm running Windows Vista on my laptop with Windows Firewall and AVG anti-virus (home versions).
I cannot seem to download the Ultimate Bet poker room onto that computer and have confirmed that it is the computer and not the poker site. (Error message says the web page I'm trying to access cannot be found.)
Is there some sort of security setting somewhere preventing me from downloading .exe files?
Any help you can provide would be great as I would like to register for upcoming OFC but won't until I can verify my account info. Thanks all.

Thank you gentlemen. While chatting with HB, I remembered that this laptop is still running Internet Explorer 7. I have downloaded Firefox and the problem is resolved.
(Aside -- I was still using IE because I wanted to see if 7 was any better than the other versions - since it was designed for Vista. Clearly, it's not so Firefox it is.)
Thanks again,
