Player Bashing

Well my understanding is that with the merge of Vegas to AP, some usernames from ppl Vegas accounts were being shown as nickname_#####, when logging into AP. I know that when I tried to register in AP with my Vegas username it would tell me I was registered, but my name wouldn't appear in list. After attempting to unregister and then re-register a few times and still not showing, I went ahead and registered it thru the Vegas site and it appeared.

Now, as I am sure we were all concerned of who was playing under these nickname usernames, how we went about addressing it, for some, was way out of line. I know for a "FACT" that one of my team players was sporting one of those nickname_#####, usernames and that he was only registered under one account. I also believe that it had been established that limogal had a couple of team members registered the same way, but each nickname had a different preceding number, as to keep them straight. These all link back to their respective accounts and should not have been misinterpreted as being ONE user in several accounts. For those of you who bashed my player or any of the other, "Shame on you." Get your facts straight BEFORE you go around pointing fingers and making complete asses of yourselves.

The accusations of "cheater", "pig", "dumb fuck", "loser", etc, etc..... was completely unacceptable and as far as I am concerned, those of you who decided to commence, or even join in with, these verbal assaults without having the decency to politely address the issue in a civilized manner are lower than pond scum.

Now, if you were one of those and realize the error of your ways, I believe you need to make the same PUBLIC address that you did when you insulted these players and form a PUBLIC apology. If you feel too embarrassed to make that apology because of my statements, that's a shame and just remember for future reference, to look both ways b4 crossing that street again.

WOW I gotta say I am blown the hell away! I wanna apologize for anyone that had to be spoken to this way and to any that had to sit and watch this!!! There are forumwars rules in place now and were at this time!! Not too cool at all no matter what way ya slice or dice it. Holdem hogs was started because all the turmoil that was happening at the time. We wanted a place where anyone could come and post their personal opinions about anything. We have always upheld the value of respect. For the game in which we play and for the players in which we play with. We have never nor will we ever accept the "bashing" of a member. We have seen alot of new member come into our house and have welcomed each and every one of them, as we will continue to do. But remember this.. there are members that have been around us for quite some time now and we have all the trust in the world in them. If you go publicly assaulting one of our members you are basically assaulting the integrity of our forum. We uphold the concept of decency and respect in the highest manner and our members know this. KNOW THIS... if you are a member of our forum your conduct not only reflects on you but on all of us all well. And we will except nothing less than being at the very least honorable in your actions.
