 Scoring and Play |

Here is a rundown of how games will be played:
1. Each week your team will be assigned to a table and compete against 4 other teams. This means there will be a maximum of 5 teams per table and those are the only ones you will be competing against for points that week.
2. The winning players team of each table will remain at that table into the next week with the remaining teams being drawn for tables.
3. All teams will stay together for the duration of the league.
4. Finishing position points will be added together for a combined team score.
5. Any player failing to make 2 consecutive games without informing your teammate or admin will be removed for the remainder of the league and be replaced with an alternate. This is put into place to make it fair for those trying to place well in the points.
6. Admin will pm you with table assignments and passwords. Make sure to register at the correct table as the passwords will all be different to try and maintain order.
7. Each game will be $1.10 with $1.00 going to the prizepool and $.10 to the fee.
8. A $50 headsup freeroll will be awarded to the winning team at the end of the session.
POINTS
1st - 10+1
2nd - 9
3rd - 8
4th - 7
5th - 6
6th - 5
7th - 4
8th - 3
9th - 2
10th- 1

Okay, so you are only playing the one table for that day? So it is similar to a one table sitngo type play? Once your table is done, it's done. None of the tables merge afterwards?
Also, if someone does not show up the game will still run with just 9 players, right?
Just want to make sure I understand it all. I'll be the one asking all the silly questions....lol

One table is correct. Similar to SnG is correct. Tables will not merge is correct. And tables are set up to start with 2 minimum (hope that doesn't happen).
Don't worry about the questions, that's what were here for.

What about the points. I see it goes 10+1 all the way to 1 points for 10 players. What happens with a 9 or 8 player table (ie 9+1 down to 1 for 9 players or... 8+1 down to 1 for 8 players) or will it remain 10+1 no matter how many play?
Dumb question but just checkin.

The points will always be 10+1 and down regardless of the amount of players to show or the short table that we have each week would be automatically screwed. The lower points will just be lost.

I'm sure this is a real dumb question, but I have to ask. How do you know what team number you are? I know who my partner is, but I don't know what our team number is.
I was looking at the standings and I don't know how to find where we are.

I'm sorry, I don't understand that. I found the partners league and see the team numbers listed and the points they have. I just don't know what team number we are.

Ok, so by "winning team of each table" you must mean the 1st place finisher and his or her partner.
Not the team with the most number of points for that round.
And that's fine, because that actually makes more sense.

Ok, so I FINALLY figured out that the Leader Board is interactive (yeah, I'm slow). So now I'm confused. It only shows 2 teams with a win. We've got 4 tables so after 2 weeks shouldn't there be 8 wins reflected in the "Win" column? Am I missing something?

Actually it will only shown one win each week for the team that acquired the most total points.

Ok - so the "win" reflected on the leaderboard refers to the single team with the highest points overall for the week. Not the winners of each table. The only importance of the winners of each table is that they remain at their table for the next week.
 I'm so confused -- but I think I got it now.
